Education has no borders time or scope
Escaping Superstition's Coil
Education has no borders time or scopeTo say less is acceding to a past
A past of wars and ravages and harm
that better education might yet quell
Education's future's a conundrum
awash in sprawl and politics and oil
Let curiosity prevail
and borders vanish
And let us escape
superstition's coil

A tiny core of freedom
a tiny core of freedom is
the most precious thing we have
worth more than any price we might adduce
It is what finally goads us
into truth
Money's neither evil's root
nor good's
These lie within that tiny little core
The root of what the heart decides
Reveals our grandeur
and our tragedy
Which it shall be
is what we decide
Good is everything that prevents harm
We know what good and evil is.
There is a huge "tell" in the story of Adam and Eve. It comes when
God says that if Adam and Eve know what good and evil are, they will become
like him! The writer is clearly telling us that we do know what good and
evil is. And that we are not without the qualities that would - and could -
make us at least somewhat better than we are. What the writer does not mention
is that we would ignore this knowledge for centuries in deference to forces
that have in fact been evil.

We evolve or not according to the freedom we possess
There is no beyond
What we call beyond
is deep within
It is our sense
of what's beyond beyond
And what's beyond beyond
is only good
The good that's there
when we can comprehend
How simple and direct
that goodness is
It is the helping hand
It is the tolerant perspective
It is the open heart
It is the freedom that is
able to discern the good
It is the humility before this
deep beyond
It is the winsome nature
of the One within us
Who only wants us to celebrate
creation
And act within creation
without fear
The buck stops with us
and we evolve or not
according to the freedom we possess
