The New Tao Te-Ching - Compose a Harmony

Existence brings the nonexistent forth.

The easy brings the hard, the short the long.

From all that is, an opposite is born.

Opposing notes compose a harmony.

This remarkable adaptation is available at present for 99 cents..
The price will eventually be its original publication price.
My reason is that I need reviews.
I am not permitted to give the book away
because it is an adaptation of a public domain work.
But I can also mail a word document
to prospective reviewers.

The New Tao Te-Ching is a Radical Adaptation of the Ancient Text

Here is a brief excerpt from the first chapter of The New Tao:
Desire cannot enable us to find
what is ineffably beyond, a mystery.
Desire will only blind us to the truth,
an outer fringe is all that we shall see.

A Note on Peirce's Way of Wisdom Sent to the Peirce List

A Note on Peirce's Way of Wisdom
Sent to the Peirce List

On page 250 of
Kenneth Laine Ketner's
A Thief of Peirce
begins a remarkable short essay
on the importance of
religion for Peirce.
Ketner says,
"Perhaps we we should refer
to his whole output
as being a way of wisdom."
I have, instinctively,
from my background
in theology and
radical criticism of Christianity,
assumed this
from the beginning
of my recent exposure to CSP.
Anyone interested
in how I have parsed this
can find bits and pieces
on my blog.
This is the best gateway:
Search results for Triadic Philosophy
http://buff.ly/Yq5sYQ
or in two short Kindle Books at
Stephen's Remarkable Kindle Store

Ketner's book features Walker Percy
who was a good friend of
my 40 year colleague and friend
Will Campbell
who would probably pass muster
as a person after CSP's own heart.

Best, S

Do not take comfort in opposing sides

Do not take comfort in opposing sides
No more than you would amid rising tides
Submerged in conflict only two ways seen
Lost in dreams of what might have been
Spurn black and white friends enemies peace war
Move past the need to post a win lose score
Schism division let them be our past
Look past all dyads become free at last

There is a world where peace resides

There is a world where peace resides
Inside all those who see
Abba within the spark of life
Abba who sets us free
There is a world of peaceful tides
A world within a world outside
A world we build it step by step
Where Abba's way abides

No one can know what lies beyond no one

No one can know
What lies beyond
No one
Save what one guesses
On this side
From what life yields
And what one learns
From living
