Stocks Drop on Gridlocked Debt Talks - WSJ.com: "The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 122 points, or 1%, to 12560, erasing more than half of last week's gains as investors retreated from risky assets like stocks. The Standard & Poor's 500-stock index lost 12 points, or 0.9%, to 1333, with all sectors declining. The Nasdaq Composite dropped 25 points, or 0.9%, to 2834."
