Dan Savage on the Virtues of Infidelity - NYTimes.com: "Some people need more than one partner, he writes, just as some people need flirting, others need to be whipped, others need lovers of both sexes. We can’t help our urges ..."
I love the NYT as the most predictable purveyor of the party line of a world that will not cotton to change. The biggest change of all is to move from a static Freudian model (which is highly redolent of the Original Sin model) to the spectrum understanding and willed values, the position I advocate. It leaves us a little wiggle room in dealing with so called "urges we can't help".
