The mission of the church is social justice

The Grass Roots Church: "There must be increased participation by trained Christians in the fight to obtain social justice not only in the United States but throughout the world. Participation in the renewal movement is not denied to those who disagree concerning how the Church should deal with the explosive facts of racial upheaval, stark starvation, and incredibly rapid urbanization, but does exclude those whose eyes are closed to the fact that these problems exist and call for solution. The possibility of a renewal movement in America's churches is based on the hope of recovering a biblically prophetic insight into our cataclysmic times."
