No one has pointed out the stakes of the conflict but I will

"With President Obama capitulating to John Boehner on when he'd be permitted to deliver his jobs speech to Congress, Michael Tomasky wonders whether the president will ever fight for policies he believes in."
This article and the headline noted in the link immediately above is in the same ballpark with Boehner's diss of the President. No one has pointed out the stakes of the conflict that only a few even understand and admit. Obama understands it. He has the advantage of experience that John Boehner will never begin to comprehend. As for the author of this piece (or maybe it is also the headline writer) unless you can see the present juncture of history as no less momentous than the one that Lincoln presided over, don't even bother to consider yourself a worthy interpreter of what is happening. The stakes are overturning the corporate domination of  the US led by big oil. In such a battle the winner is the one who has a mind.
