This video was playing while I was doing my daily treadmill and I am glad to have heard it again. The President needs to lay down better markers for the GOP. Like the GOP has not offered a plan and it is too late to play make believe. Like I want the name of every legislator who votes against to be part of a roll of shame, shame on those who won't vote for what their party has always favored so they can blame me for their lack of guts. And so forth.
Otherwise, the President looks like a hopeless guy out there trying to sell something that is already doomed. He needs to surround himself with the people he cites as injured,. Laid off teachers. Laid off workers. Kids being short-changed. This is show time. The time for reasoning with the unreasonable was over long ago.
