I suppose the back and forth binary people want to argue about the exact number of jobs created or not created by who. That is silly. The real issue is that work in an automation culture needs redefinition, all the way from the overpaid CEO to the unemployed person who has skills nobody wants. Work should be seen as something useful regardless of anyone's willingness to pay for it. We pay out money in this economy in a most uneven manner and everything has a value that is determined by the knockoff scale, You can buy a T short for one or $1000 bucks. Values that we should pay for are non-idolatry, helpfulness, democracy and tolerance. Everyone should have shopping credits which can only be used to buy things. The only qualification is you do something useful that relates to the values I've mentioned. This can be volunteer or not. It can be content creation that is paid for or not. We need to see that in the future we will not have the same sort of work that we have had for the past century. We need to think about it. Anything else is binary nonsense and wasting time.

The Problem is Not How Many Jobs Obama Has Created
