Typical NYT Temporizing

‘Occupy Wall Street’ Protests Offer Obama Opportunity and Threats - NYTimes.com: "To hear some Democratic analysts tell it, the mushrooming protests could be the start of a populist movement on the left that counterbalances the surge of the Tea Party on the right, and closes what some Democrats fear is an “enthusiasm gap” between their party and Republicans in the 2012 election."

If all this is is a balance it is toast. Balance what, four corporate entities that funnel right wing money to the "grass roots". Otherwise the Tea Party is a brand that got floated by the media. It is a synonym for GOP anger opportunism. Either we become a huge force that has the capacity to oust the GOP wholesale or we will end up a tiny weight on the other side of the seesaw the media loves to hypothesize as a salient narrative.
