Best Comment on "Netflix is 'broken"

Netflix is 'broken' with no fix in sight, analyst says - Digg: "Nice. CNet (owned by CBS incidentally) thinks Netflix is broken. Well why would that be exactly? It's surely not because big media is making increasingly higher and more unreasonable demands of Netflix for allowing their shows to be seen, or outright refusing to give Netflix the rights at any price, forcing Netflix to make creative and/or risky changes to stay ahead of the curve?

Easy to get mad at Netflix because of the removal of the dual-subscription, or Quickster, or whatever, but all they're trying to do is stay ahead of the game. Netflix knows that it is slowly being squeezed dry by Hollywood, one deal at a time. You can bitch now about having to pay an extra $8 a month to keep physical DVD's or streaming, but have fun in 5 years when Netflix is gone and every damn studio/TV station wants you to pay $15/month for just their content, each with their own player/account."
