Yep I am gadgeted for realA Kindle Fire came yesterdayAnd now my thumb prints are all over its pristine surfaceI did manage to wireless enable and registerIt is now Steve's Kindle2But it will be a work of some skill to master itI tried reading my Herodotus and lost my place But it did enable me to get my books from my initial KindleI feel like one of those NYT reviewers inundated with gadgetsThe Fire is clearly a work in progressIn about a year it will probably function so a reasonably intuitive soul will not besmirch it with thumbprints
