The Problem with Krugman

Depression and Democracy - NYTimes.com: "It’s time to start calling the current situation what it is: a depression. True, it’s not a full replay of the Great Depression, but that’s cold comfort."

He repeats himself.

He rarely offers any positive proposals involving new ideas.

He lacks a radical environmental awareness.

And on this one, the only key to progress is a radical environmental consciousness combined with a capacity to compromise. We are about to get a huge compromise which will serve us well. I am eating some crow as I write. But I have concluded that despite the antics of proponents, we will indeed have the shale pipeline and it will trade for the tax cut extension. Hell of a way to govern but that's life. Meanwhile Krugman needs a wake up of some sort. Or maybe not. He has job security after all.
