Abrahamic religions have played realpolitik from the start. They are morally problematic and without intrinsic authority. They have been in league with principalities and powers or captives of their cultures or both. We are in the era of a vast shift from religion to spirituality and universal practice of ontological , post-Aristotelian values - tolerance, democracy, helpfulness, non-idolatry.
