The typical environmental rap pits nature against sprawlGet wiseWe are not about going back to nature Or even assuming that we are to leave the natural world as it isWe are in fact destined to make use of all the resources that existWhen we argue against fossil fuel useOr sprawling over farm lands with identical developmentsIt is because such use and such sprawl is  a mindless and harmful use of natureWe will build our car-free cyber communities to be advanced technologicallyTo use nature inventivelyAnd in the bargain to return land to its natural stateBecause it makes sense for us to do soNot because we venerate natureNature is neutralIt is we who determine whether it is ravaged or notAnd how we intend to control it
