Stumbled on a way to get Twitter followers today

I found a page on the Kindle DTP Forums about following on Twitter Since Twitter changes I had been doing little or no following.
I clicked  the first note and followed the person (a writer) And then followed the first ten persons she was following
Things sort of snowballed as I kept following the first ten persons followed by everyone who responded
