Defining Abba As If One Could and Yet


The words below are a description of what I take to be reality
As Jesus suggested the One we cannot name is Abba
A scandalously familiar word to suggest that this One
Is not our enemy and that we have something to do 
with our own salvation on earth
I say on earth advisedly because there is no reason
why life does not somehow continue
The One cannot be defined 
But as we prove out the Way of Abba
and commune with Abba within
and honor Abba's values of tolerance democracy
helpfulness and non-idolatry
we can say the following
with confidence
