I do not believe we will regulate our way to a sustainable future
I believe the only way to get there is by building models
Models for Our Common Future
Create actual models
of how life can be lived 
in a society that
creates itself from the ground up
according to peoples' needs and desires

Such models will seek to find 
the most cost-effective ways
to create sustainable energy at the grass roots -
the best alternatives to a society
that is wed to
oil sprawl automobiles

Models of car free communities
with vibrant local economies
and all elements of social and economic life
within a mile walk
