The world we live in changes with the time

The world we live in changes with the time 
The world we live in changes as names change
As bridges burn and altered circumstance
Creates circumferences anew  

In time circumferences are gone
And worlds begin to vanish from our sight
And then we see the world we knew
Was not the world but just our world
Our word for our reality
Now lost in dreams and memories

We cannot hold what does not  last
We can't be captives of our past
