Either Way We'll End Up with Health Care Reform

Either way we'll end up with health care reform
Past all the politicking rhetoric
A tax or penalty will be the norm
One might conclude it's politics that's sick

The Democrats could use a more confident attitude

The Democrats could use a more confident attitude
The mail I get projects almost an abject fear
That's gotten us in trouble since way back in the 60s
We'll lose again if we don't think our case is clear

More and more see sustainability as a value.

The Times Are Changing

1. The office culture and the need for an office work environment is becoming more and more ephemeral and unneccessary.

2. The commute to work is costly and not an option for more and more people.

3. The sprawl house that requires upkeep with a plot that must be maintained is no longer an ideal for many.

4. Current zoning divides everything that could easily be united.

5. Size matters. People care more about quality of life than the maintenance of a large home and the running of a large establishment.

6. We need more than cheaper cars and better intercity transit. We need to reclaim rights of ways for people.

6. Reliance on fossil fuels has to end someday.

7. The actual impact of the computer on everything else means we are getting where we are going without
the need to travel.

8. More and more see sustainability as a value.

Stumbled on a way to get Twitter followers today

I found a page on the Kindle DTP Forums about following on Twitter
Since Twitter changes I had been doing little or no following.

I clicked  the first note and followed the person (a writer)
And then followed the first ten persons
she was following

Things sort of snowballed as I kept following
the first ten persons followed by everyone who responded

No Way The GOP Can Beat The President

A party that would nominate an empty suit cannot win

A party that eviscerates entitlements cannot win

A party that offends minorities and women cannot win

How I intend to defeat the Super PACS

When Other Voices Are Drowned Out - NYTimes.com:

1. Whenever there is an ad with no candidate taking responsibility for it, I will assume it is from a Super PAC

2. When these sorts of ads repeat and are omnipresent, I will unfavorite the channel or otherwise zap it

3. For every attack ad that I see that disagrees with my inclination, I will add a dollar to the fund I intend to donate to the campaign of the Presidential candidate I favor.
