Values are everything and we hardly know it
Four Active Values - Associated Content from Yahoo! - associatedcontent.com I have made it a mission for several decades to share my observations from working with teenagers and teaching them to sing the Gospel of Mark, which I made into simple songs that followed the text. I inferred that the best expression of the values that emerged was tolerance, helpfulness, democracy and non-idolatry. These are so at variance with what we have inherited - a mishmash of philosophical suppositions which do not even understand that we live by willed values - that I take pains to offer what help I can in driving this theory home.
