The interesting thing is that with Peirce we eliminate the notion of the one philosopher who has it all. The one correct theorist and so forth. We move instead to a worldview appropriate to the future and to the world of cyberspace. Many if not all participate in the same reality and try to reason within it. We stumble toward truth. We move forward. Life is continuity and community. Peirce is not THE philosopher. He is simply the prophet of a world n which there are no more THE anythings. The world is slow to hear.
