What nobody gets about the future

For what it's worth here is what I would say
No one is getting about the future
That the day of driving our lives away will end
That the day of building detached houses will end
That the race to save these things will impede the future
That the future will be either necessity or choice
We could freely decide to move to car free communities and a high tech alternative
To today's sclerotic and impossible transportation
Or we could be forced into ultimately conceding the conclusions above
Choice is vastly better than necessity
We could create multi-zoned car-free cyber-communities
With modular spaces build within an eco-sufficient matrix
With reformed education because the neighborhood becomes a school
By accepting their ultimate necessity
And modeling new forms of social being
Where we could walk to everything
Where the need for  necessary travel is trumped by technology
Where the need for urban in gratified in the micro environment
Where cyber means that we utilize cyber
As communal experience via kiosks staffed and placed
Throughout the cyber-community
And so forth and so on as noted here
And in the blog complex
