What is not in decline are values - tolerance, democracy, helpfulness and non-idolatry. Those who will these need no baptism or de-baptism. The global democratic movement, if it abides by these values, will succeed in achieving what was implicit in the teaching of Jesus, largely ignored by many within churches.
