Christianity in the United States is in declineMainline churches have consistently lost members since the 1950sDuring the 1960s one could brush off the vocal evangelicalsNow evangelicals are vocal but their very vocality is a symptom of declineThey have sacrificed their Biblical anchor for a right wing agendaThis is snide politicsIt cannot conceal declineIn 50 years the evangelical churches will suffer the same losses as the  mainlineThe world is moving to a universal spirituality based on willed valuesDemocracy tolerance helpfulness non-idolatryJesus himself had no desire to foster a religionOr to be an object of worshipHe instructed worship of Abba aloneHe had no interest in snide politics nor in a right wing political agenda
