The book Abba's Way begins with a summons to imagine Jesus speaking today.

Jesus is an iconoclast not a spectral ghost
Jesus is concerned for all people
His way is Abba's way which is universal
Abba's Way is based on something that is in everyone
That something is the presence of Abba
That something is freedom
That something is will
The will to make these values paramount
And the Abba  prayer your own
