The ontological place of Will in Triadic Philosophy

Will is central to Triadic Philosophy
This is hardly an original notion
Great thinkers have always recognized will
Will is the engine of action
the impulse to create
the very life force
of all humanity
Everything we do is the result
of our possessing will
Ontology means being
Within Triadic Philosophy
Ontology is central
Every key word within the simple powerful structure
of Triadic Philosophy
is ontological
Every word conveys the way things are
Words like circus rabbits virtue even justice
are not in themselvcs ontological
But 'will' is
With no need for modification
will stands tall within Reality
Will has a close companion within Reality
Freedom
Freedom within Triadic Philosophy is
the power to choose among values
It is also the power to refuse
This is why the ultimate evil
is to consciously kill another
and why all grades of harm are grades of evil
All evil is a frontal attack
on the  very source of human dignity
All evil is a blow at holiness
All evil is a denial of the
preciousness of humankind
To foreclose freedom
and deny the exercise of will
is the substance of the evil that
the Triadic Philosopher
seeks daily deliverance from

The place of will in Triadic Philosophy is in
the realm of Reality

The aim of Triadic Philosophy is that
all people become conscious actors
engaging in freely willed acts of
helpfulness tolerance
democracy and non-idolatry
These are the
values that are
- like freedom and will -
ontological

Triadic Philosophy - Will freedom and values are part of reality

Will freedom and values are part of reality
Progress is the active promotion of
the values of
tolerance democracy and helpfulness
and the practice of non-idolatry

Will is energy powering values
Freedom is our capacity to choose among values
The ontological values
are democracy tolerance helpfulness
and non-idolatry
Life lies in the free choice of these values
Progress is the impact of these values in action
The test of actions is that they
fuse truth and beauty
To the extent they do
we live and learn

Triadic Philosophy - Freedom and Will Account for The Irreducible Dignity All Persons Possess

Foundational Triad
Reality Ethics Aesthetics

This Triad
Freedom Temptation Decision

Each triad  (of an infinite number)
in this philosophy
refers to the foundation
In  other words
knowledge and actions rise
from interaction of Reality and Ethics
and a resolution in the active realm
under the sign (or word) of Aesthetics
THE TRIAD ABOVE
Image one

First
Freedom
(Freedom and will are part of the Reality
which rises around us. The essence of our dignity
lies in the presence of these within
the penumbra .)

Second
Temptation
(Temptation is the experience of  Freedom
in tension with signs of warning
presumptions of danger
impulses to exceed limits
real or imagined.)

Third
Decision
(We own
our response and affirm it as our choice.
The key ethical imperative
is that our choice possess the ends to which Aesthetics leads -
beauty truth joy peace.)

What is free speech

It could be Dionysian babbling
Hip hopping down a bunny trail
It could be tempting incarceration
Echoing what once was free now up for sale
In which case it would instigate a penalty
And be denoted robbery
Or it might be
A yes or no that springs from
Some deep freedom sensed within
A destiny
Odd to say that
Yet nothing is more free

Our state of mind embraces everyone
There is no life or death or dark or llight
Only this sense whatever is is right

The dismal end of built-in obsolescence

Irony on irony. The talk of recovery. What is lost will not be recovered. And that is a happy thing. When I was a teen we talked about built-in obsolescence as something new. An era of craft had petered out and was succeeded by mass produced products that were destined to need replacement, so we were told. Now I see the shoppers in Macy's and wonder if i am wrong. I don't think so. The figures back me up. Everything points to the fact that we are not spending money because we no longer want a new model every year, a new fashion every season, a new generation of product every year. This means that we are miles ahead of the business schools. We will spearhead the sunset of the corporate world with its no-liability perks and its affluent exploit class. Within five years the talk of big bonuses will have receded. We may even be beyond the market as we know it. The economy of the future will value human beings not as corpses to be manipulated from birth to death but as thinking, free souls who want to learn what their freedom means in daily practice. Corporations have little investment even in recognizing freedom. It makes their research iffy. But we knew the recovery was phony from the beginning. Do not blame anyone but us. We stopped buying. Congratulations to us. We are waiting for the world to catch up. Congratulations again. And we will prevail.

ALEC is the name of what corporations want to do to finish us all off save as consumers of the junk they decide we need

The Conservatives' ALEC Philosophy: Everything Related to Government Should Be Demonized, Starved or Privatized | Tea Party and the Right | AlterNet Don't kid yourself. This is what this is all about. It is two forms of happiness fighting. One is life as we have known it. Chronologizing our way to a better future by milliseconds and nanosteps. And then there is this reification machine that wants us to be Dostoyevskian piano keys blinking somnambulently at the screen and feeding our dying corpses with corn made by Archer Davis Midland. This is the sick option. It is the GOP option. It is the jaws of hell closing on us. And they have preempted the language of freedom to describe its slavery. To ALEC I say ---- off!

There's a difference between a brain and a mind

There's a difference between a brain which is more of less similar to any material thing of substantial complexity and a mind which results from the interaction of the ineffable who that we are and the world. The mind is free and uses its inherent will to create with the aid of the brain an infinite web of possibilities which guides our every movement and thought. The notion that the workings of the mind can be understood merely by reductive and  often pedestrian attention to the brain is as ill-founded as the belief that we are piano keys rather than human beings.
