Does the GOP have ANY argument with Obama

Republican Policies for Iran Differ Little From Obama’s - NYTimes.com:

'via Blog this'

It's like the Wizard of Oz played by an alcoholic John Boehner. There is nothing there.

The result may be the election when more money was spent to produce the lowest GOP turnout ever.

And the reason is that President Obama has, not by deft political maneuver but by natural inclination, taken the center position and gotten the GOP to designate him a flaming radical, a wimpo, and so forth. It won't work and I think the GOP is beginning to understand the depth of its denouement.

No thanks to GOP - Blunt Blunted

Birth control exemption bill, the ‘Blunt amendment,’ killed in Senate - The Washington Post: "By a largely party-line vote, the Senate on Thursday blocked a move to exempt virtually any employer with moral objections from the Obama administration’s controversial birth control health coverage rule.

The measure, an amendment proposed by Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) to a highway funding bill, was tabled—and therefore effectively killed—by a vote of 51 to 48."

There are 48 bloodthirsty, anti-woman GOP Senators who do not deserve to be re-elected. See that they aren't.

The GOP Sin Knows No Bounds

The GOP sin knows no bounds
Sin is transsgression
Idolatry
Unhelpfulness
Intolerance
Crucifying the democratic process

The GOP sin knows no bounds
The President would have given ten in cuts
For one in revenue
The GOP refused
Why

Not because the President was
Wrong
But because he was right and they knew it
And because they cared more about getting him
Than about solving the debt
And now the GOP yells deficit reduction all around

The GOP know no bounds
And we know it
And Despise it
And will toss them out
In November

GOP has reaped a female whirlwind

Now they’ve done it: Vaginaphobe Republicans Have just pissed off women (10s of thousands of them) - Digg: "freakoutnation.com — Out of touch Republicans — in an attempt to possibly deflect from the fact they have no viable candidate to run against President Obama — have thrown the female population under the 1950s bus. ‘We are Women’ are marching to each state capitol. What started out with just a few members, within just a few days, now have 10s of thousands in total supporting them. Just wait until April 28th – because moderates do not agree with these tactics either. "

My Take on The GOP Debates

Politics is mostly entertainment
About the push and pull for a piece of pie that shrinks when the GOP wins
The debates were cast as entertainment
At first the object was to rid the stage of all who made this too obvious
Sic transit Bachmann, Perry, Huntsman, Cain

By now the piece of  putative pie had been shrunk so much that
Were the nostrums of the survivors heeded
The nation would descend into a depression that would make
The Thirties look like a walk in the park

In short extended absurdity was not that entertaining after a while

GOP has very few bread and butter donors

In Republican Race, a New Breed of Superdonor - NYTimes.com: "Collectively, their contributions have totaled more than $50 million this cycle, making them easily the most influential and powerful political donors in politics today. They have relatively few Democratic counterparts so far, with most of the leading liberal donors from past years giving relatively small amounts — or not at all — to the Democratic super PACs."

The corporate way, friends. What else is new. The next time it takes you a broken fingernail to open a package think about the friendly corporations that control your life and ask whether it is government that is the intrusive one.

Background on GOP Perfidy for 2012

GOP is cat-calling its way to the biggest defeat since 1964

A Responsible 2013 Budget - NYTimes.com: "President Obama’s 2013 budget was greeted on Monday with Republican catcalls that it is simply a campaign document, but election-year budgets are supposed to explain priorities to voters. This one offers a clear and welcome contrast to the slashing austerity — and protect-the-wealthy priorities — favored by Republican Congressional leaders and the party’s presidential candidates."

The GOP will choose either an empty suit, an invasive condom opponent, a grandiosity doll, a whining Dickensian or a desperate alternative named Bush. The party is too ruined to be credible regardless. If the Democrats have the grace to support our President, not run from him, we should have four years of reasonable progress and the prospect of another eight with similar moderation ascendant. It will take a dozen years to cleanse the GOP from the effects of its current illness.

GOP's rudeness seems unstoppable

Noxious Oil: Noxious Fumes Almost Led to An Exodus in China: "Noxious Fumes Almost Led to An Exodus in China"

'via Blog this'

In a hearing on the Canadian pipeline matter last Wednesday, some GOP representatives were so rude as to dishonor the House. The pipeline will doubtless get built but it will do little good in the long run. We are moving past oil. We are waiting for the proper nudge from reality in the form of inventions that will revolutionize society. Unfortunately politics does not share such faith though it is what has driven invention from the beginning. And capitalism is more concerned with gadgetry and marketing than the bigger vision that animated the likes of Ayn Rand.

Trumping the GOP is racist meme is this comment - also true

Newt Gingrich and the Art of Racial Politics - NYTimes.com:

"As a white man married to a black woman, and having grown up in integrated neighborhoods and schools, there is no doubt that the following from your editorial is true. It has been an orchestrated campaign for 40 years by liberal democrats in every urban center in the country. Ask yourself the question are these areas better off now than they were before 40 years of "progressive, liberal, Democrat" help?

"The phrase “maximize dependency” is a particularly interesting one because it suggests a systematic, orchestrated campaign by the president and liberals in general to keep blacks poor and dependent on “big government” as a way of insuring their continued political support.""

Both parties contribute to oppression which is as class-driven as it is racist. Anyone familiar with reality on both sides of the racial divide knows this. Occupy is the only potential force able to work - for decades - to change this. The rest is just sideshow.

Is GOP 2012 the Same as GOP 2008? In a word, NO.

Newt is not Rudy G
Santorum is not Huckabee
Rick Perry is not Fred Thompson
That is obvious

But the real reason 2008 and 2012 differ is
 Romney is not McCain
2012 is not 2008

This year GOP is mired in unpopular right wing positions
The Republican establishment liking for Mitt
Is not because Mitt is moderate
But because they are as hell bent to
GET OBAMA
As the most racist and vitriolic right wing
of the GOP

The entire GOP is in an indefensible position
The only question the Republican elite has
Is whether Romney will self destruct
The one who scared them is
One person
His name is Newt
He is the only one of the lot who
Could actually confront Obama
Without making a fool is himself

Live GOP Debate Coverage - Heck No, Opinion

Live GOP Debate Coverage - Heck No, Opinion

Romney looks nauseated
Or like a corpse

Perry is bottom fishing for votes attacking Paul
Santorum seems not worth attacking
I have never seen anyone project less leadership ability
He is inarticulate
Incredible

Huntsman is weirdly OK
Dead in the water

Fascinating
Ron Paul speaks some truth about war and race
And the audience is silent
All the audience seems to care about is gotcha
Sick

Opinion:  The church can say what marriage is
At present it acts as a shill for the state
The state has no business legislating marriage
Clergy have no business acting for the state
Civil unions can be anything
No no one articulates this

Romney looks better when speaking than when acting as though he is interested
However listening away if I had to choose I would take Huntsman
over Romney without one hesitation
Romney is delivering canned statements
Huntsman gives a sense of having actually thought

Romney is growing noses

Flagging GOP Anti-Obama Racism

Republican Attacks Have Racist Undertones - NYTimes.com: "You can detect this undertone in the level of disrespect for this president that would be unthinkable were he not an African-American. Some earlier examples include: Rep. Joe Wilson shouting “you lie” at one of Mr. Obama’s first appearances before Congress, and House Speaker John Boehner rejecting Mr. Obama’s request to speak to a joint session of Congress—the first such denial in the history of our republic."

US Slogs Along Despite Retrograde GOP

Jobless claims at 3.5 year low | Reuters: "(Reuters) - The number of Americans filing new claims for jobless benefits hit a 3-1/2 year low last week, bolstering views the economy was gaining momentum, even though third-quarter growth was revised down."

'via Blog this'

Contrast this with the lineup of hypocritical House Republicans lying to the American people in such a bald-faced way that it is transparent and damning. America clearly has no time for the likes of Boehner the Indian Giver and Cantor the Faux Nixon.

He should blame it on the GOP who hounded him out

Parting Shot at ‘Waste’ By Key Obama Health Official - NYTimes.com: "WASHINGTON — The official in charge of Medicare and Medicaid for the last 17 months says that 20 percent to 30 percent of health spending is “waste” that yields no benefit to patients, and that some of the needless spending is a result of onerous, archaic regulations enforced by his agency."

GOP Criminality Running Rampant

The Republican Effort to Restrict Voting Rights | Protectingthevote.com:

In at least 40 states, Republicans have introduced laws that would make voting more difficult for everyone -- particularly minorities and young voters.

Coincidence? Of course not. It's all for partisan gain. GOP leaders have said it themselves: They do better when fewer people show up to vote.

That's right: Right here in America, some people are actually trying to make sure fewer people show up at the polls next year.

Cap tip Debbie

First they ruin the lives of the poor and middle class and now they want to hallow their crimes by restricting the number who can vote to see that they never hold office again.
